QUEST NIGERIA has announced the appointment of popular Nollywood Actor, Kanayo .O. Kanayo as Corporate Consul for the reality show.
His brief includes media and corporate representations, concept actualizing and Tourist Guide for the contestants as they race around the different zones of Nigeria in hunt of tourist sites.
This was made known to newsmen by Questal House executive director for Administration and Corporate matters, Barrister Izu Osuigwe.
He also revealed that Mercy Johnson, another popular Nollywood actress is also a key member of the management team for the show.
She is in charge of core media relations.
The appointment of these renowned individuals underscores the seriousness with which Questal House perceives the project.
This reality show has witnessed the pioneering of use of scratch cards as means of purchasing entry forms for reality television contests in Nigeria.
Responses from applicants have been wonderful, as most Nigerians view the reality show as an opportunity to really discover the country in terms of its cultural, tourist, physical and geographical assets.
The television show promises to be a must watch as the country’s rare and interesting sites will be shown to viewers at home who will be monitoring the contestants as they move from state to state, viewers will also have chances of participating by means of text messages to advise the contestants on where given tourist locations in a particular state are to be found.
So far, the organization has been putting its act together to ensure that all is ready for its May 20 kick off date. To this end, accommodation, transportation, and general logistics issues in all the zones of Nigeria are being taken care of.
The show will have the contestants crack clues that will lead them though places like; Badagry, Alake of Egbaland Monument, Ogun State, Old Oyo National Park Owu waterfalls, Kwara, Kainji Lake N.P.
