Money
At the beginning of each leg of the Quest, each team shall receive an allowance with their first clue. During the quest all expenses (food, transportation, and lodging) must be purchased from this allowance.
This money will be loaded in ATM cards for the 7 teams. A limit shall be placed on their expenses; any team that spends less than the limit gain points while the teams that spend more, lose points. The limit will vary from leg to leg; ranging from zero naira to thousands of naira. On some legs, the team will have to earn their money by completing tasks in the Roadblock while on some legs, teams may be forced to surrender their ATMs for finishing last on a non-elimination legs.
An additional sum of money will be carried by their crews as an emergency fund and can only be used in extreme circumstances, but generally not as a means to pay for any activity related to the Quest.
Clues
Route info Clues shall instruct teams where to go next. The clues shall only provide name of the team’s next destination; it will be up to the team to figure out how to get there.
However, the clue may make specification about how the teams have to travel. For example; the very first clue shall specify which means of transportation teams may take. In addition, teams maybe required to take public transport, drive a marked car or other vehicle, or walk according to the clues instructions.
Teams are generally required to keep all Route Info materials throughout the leg, surrendering them at the Pit Stop.
Road Block 1
The very first Roadblock presents a team with a task. Teams will be given several details about the task by the host, but may need to travel a short distance by foot or car to the different locations. There shall be penalties for not completing this task.
The activity on this first Roadblock has to do with the physical settings of the different regions.
Road Block 2
The second roadblock is a more physically-engaging task that teams must perform without any aid.
Main Event
This is a courtesy call by participants to the native ruler of the different region where they (teams) will perform the annual cultural activity or festival of each particular region; for examples, in Benin – We have the Igure wrestling.

The Pit Stop
This is the final destination for each leg of the Quest and where all non-eliminated teams go after checking in at the finish line. Each Pit Stop is a mandatory rest period which will allow teams to eat and mingle with each other.
The production staff will provide lodging (from simple accommodations as tents to complete hotel service) and food free of charge to the teams. During the Pit Stop teams will be interviewed to provide commentary and voice-overs for the completed leg. While teams are restricted to where the can go, they are allowed to use the remaining time to prepare themselves for the next leg.
Non-elimination Leg and Elimination Leg
This quest will have a number of non-elimination leg, in which the last team to check in at the Pit Stop is not eliminated and is allowed to continue the quest. The Last clue preceding the Pit Stop in all legs of the quest will bear the message; The Last team to check in maybe eliminated but however teams will not be notified on the legs which are non-elimination.
Final Leg
Two teams shall compete in the last leg of the race. This first part of this leg will have the teams travel to intermediate destinations to complete series of tasks. The second part of this leg will have them travel to Abuja which is the final destination of the Quest. They must perform one or more tasks before receiving clues that will direct them to the finish line.
At the finish line, Host; KOK and all eliminated teams wait for the remaining teams to arrive.
The first team to reach the finish line wins the Quest and the six million naira cash prize. All other teams shall receive lesser amount of money on a sliding scale based of their finishing order.
Ideally it is expected that both teams arrive at the finish line within a reasonable time frame but in any case the second place team falls so far behind the other two teams, that they cannot complete the Quest in a timely manner; they will be informed at their location that the Quest is over.
Production
During the Race each team shall be accompanied by a three-person audio/visual crew for the duration of the leg. The A/V crew rotates after each leg. For filming purpose, team members are generally required to stay within 20 feet of each other unless one person is performing the roadblock and must also stay close to their A/V crew unless otherwise instructed. The A/V crew must be able to accompany the team when they use a form of transportation
